Payroll Subscription Expiration Message in Sage 100 ERP
Description
Cause

The Payroll subscription support plan has expired, incorrect activation keys are in use, or there is an error on the activation server. The subscription plan is an annual plan that requires monthly payments.

Resolution

Verify the payroll subscription expiration date

  1. Open Library Master, Setup, System Configuration.
  2. Select the Modules tab.
  3. Verify the expiration date.

Update the registration information

If the expiration date doesn't show the current renewal date:
  1. Open the Registration tab.
  2. Confirm that the activation keys in use match those found on the Sage Customer Portal at https://customers.sagenorthamerica.com/
  3. Select Update.
  4. Verify that the expiration date displays the correct date.

Contact Sage for subscription assistance

If the expiration date remains incorrect, contact a Sage Sales Advisor or Sage Customer Support for assistance.
  • Sales Advisor: 1-888-721-8989
  • Sage 100 Customer Support: 800-854-3415
  • Call before the date shown in the subscription error message to avoid service interruptions.

Additional information

  • Monthly plans renew during the evening update on the monthly expiration date.
  • Payment issues prevent the subscription plan from updating.
  • In versions 2016.4 and 2017.1, the message appears after plan expiration.
  • This timing allows the next monthly billing cycle to update the subscription.
  • Note: You’ll be unable to process and update payroll after the date shown in the error message until you renew the subscription.
