| | How to install Sage 100 Contractor on the server |
| Resolution | Download and run the installation file - Download the installation file.
- Move the Sage100Contractor#####.Setup.exe installation file to your server.
- Right-click on the file. Click Run as administrator.
- Click Next.
 NOTE: The installer checks your Microsoft .NET Framework version. If an update is required, restart your computer. - Select the following items to install:
- Sage 100 Contractor.
- Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
- License Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
- Sage Advisor Update.
- Click Install.
- Choose the U.S. or Canada.
- Click Install.
- Note the IP address and Server name.
- Click Finish.
Activate your product license - Open License Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
- Click Edit Registration Information.
- Enter the following information:
- Sage Client ID: Your ten-digit customer ID number.
- Registration name: Your registration name (case sensitive).
- Your registration name must match the name in Sage's records. This information is in the emails Sage sent you.
- Click OK.
Install Microsoft SQL Server Express - Connect to Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
- Select the physical drive where you plan to store your data. This can't be a mapped or virtual drive.
- Click OK.
- Click Install SQL Express.
- The SQL Express files will download.
- The download finishes and will ask if you want to install it. Click OK. This process won't show any further prompts until it's complete.
- You'll see a window displaying your designated "sa" password.
- Note this password for your records. This is the only time you'll see this password.
