Fix Sage 100 License Update Issues

  1. Rename the Download folder in ..\MAS90\Home\Microsoft.NET\Sage100.SLS.Client on the Sage 100 server.
  2. Open Sage 100, go to Library Master, Setup, System Configuration.
  3. Click the Update button on the Registration tab.
  4. If it works, Sage 100 creates a new Download folder and an XML file inside it.
  5. Open the XML file in Notepad to view the product key and expiration date.
  6. If no XML file appears, Sage 100 isn't talking to the Sage License Server.

    • Use a tool like Process Monitor to help diagnose the issue.

Try these steps to fix connection issues

  • Unblock Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States in your firewall settings
  • Verify that your Windows server has disabled TLS 1.0 and 1.1
  • Ask your Windows admin to enable TLS 1.0 and 1.1 in the registry if needed
    • Remember, Sage 100 Customer Support can't help with registry changes
  • Right-click the Sage 100 shortcut, then choose Run as Administrator to launch it
  • For Advanced/Premium, launch Sage 100 in MAS90 (Standard) mode
  • If the connection fails, you’ll see No updates found or a timeout message
  • Install the latest Sage 100 update for your version
  • If hotfixes are available, install them too
  • Visit the Sage 100: Download Portal to get updates and hotfixes

Allow the following website in your Firewall and Browser Settings

    • This website link doesn't work except through the registration process
  • serviceprd.licence.sagesls.net
    • licence is British English in link, not a typo. Don’t change or the link will break
  • erviceprd2.licence.sagesls.net
  • AmazonAWS.com

Firewall and Transport Layer Security (TLD)

  • Use TLS 1.2 to connect. Older Sage 100 versions with TLS 1.0/1.1 can't connect
  • Make sure your firewall doesn't block websites outside the US. GEO-IP filtering can cause connection issues
