The company is missing from the Company List
Description

Recovery Pending state. This kind of situation arises primarily when:

  1. An unsaved transaction is open when the company database crashes.
  2. The user moves log files from \\Sage100Con\Logs\ to a new drive.  This action corrupts the log files.
  3. Database Recovery can't occur due to insufficient memory space or disk drive storage.
  4. Another application has locked the database, preventing SQL Server from communicating with the company.
Cause

The user renamed or deleted the company folder in Windows File Explorer.

The backup application (for example, CrashPlan, iDrive, Shadow Copy) scans the company database files.

Locked .MDF files.

The company database is in a recovery pending state, in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
