Overview

These steps apply for versions 24.1 and earlier. For versions 24.2 and later, see the User's Guide for Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Version 24.

Install Actian through the Install.exe option. When you install through Install.exe, Actian will lay down all the required components.

Previously, Estimating file servers functioned with only Actian installed. Due to Actian activation requirements in versions 13.1 and later, you must install Sage Estimating or Sage 300 CRE on any Estimating file server.

Uninstall Actian and then install either the client or the server engine.

Uninstall Actian

Uninstall Actian Client or Actian Server Engine in Programs and Features.

Install Actian Client Engine

  1. Browse to \\Server\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting\Wininst\Prerequisites\.
