Actian Server Enterprise Installation

  1. Run the downloaded 300 CRE Installer:
    1. Ensure you’re logged into Windows with an admin account.
    2. Right-click the Install.exe and select Run as administrator.
  2. A window will appear with three options.
  3. Select 1 Install Actian Zen 15 Enterprise Server.
  4. Click next through to process, selecting Complete when prompted.
  5. Skip/Close the Actian product activation key prompt.
    Note: If reinstalling, the key should already be authorized. Verify by opening License Administration and clicking the Actian Licenses button. Confirm you see an Actian Zen 15 Enterprise Server entry with a license state of Active. Confirm the License Type is Permanent. If you don’t see an active and permanent license key, click Authorize a New Product Key above the Product Name column.
  6. Select 2 Install Actian Zen 15 Enterprise Server Patch.
  7. Click next through the process to complete the server patch installation.

 

Client Installation

  1. From the client, open File Explorer and go to the Timberline Office share, \\servername\Timberline Office.
  2. Right-click Sage300CRE ACCT Client install and select Run as administrator.
  3. A window will appear with three options.
  4. Select 1 Install Actian Zen 15 Client.
  5. Select the correct path based on your setup:
    • Client Workstation: Follow the prompts through the installation. Select the Complete and Install as an Application options.
    • RDS/Terminal/Citrix Server: Follow the prompts through the installation. Select the Complete and Install as a Service options.
  6. After installing the client, select 2 Install Actian Zen 15 Client Patch.
  7. Click next through the process to complete the client patch installation.
