System Administrator is a backup tool introduced in 17.1 as an additional tool for Sage admin users to back up Company data and any SQL Replicator data. The System Administrator tool is only available on the Sage host server. 

• This video examines how to use this tool for backup and restore procedures. It automatically backs up the 9.5 folders within the Timberline Office share. It contains customized customer data, including reports, taxes, formulas, inquiries, log files, security information, and user names and passwords. 
• It excludes the WinInst folder, which needs to be backed up specifically. 

 NOTE: If you use the  SQL Replicator to copy your data from a Pervasive data management system into SQL Server for Mobile Projects or reporting, use the Sage System Administrator on the Sage Host server instead of File Tools to back up your data.
