Description | - Timeslips is slow when opening on a workstation
- Timeslips is slow when saving or printing
- Slip entry slow when tabbing from line to line
- Entering New slips says "not responding" and closes

Resolution | - Users of Sage Timeslips Premium should install the latest service release to resolve this issue.
To check the server for open files: - Open Computer Management
- From the Start menu, type Computer Management
- Double-click System Tools, Shared Folders, and then double-click Open Files
- Look for any files related to the Timeslips program. Notate the computers with the $ at the end of the name. For example: NewDell-PC$.
- Clear any open Timeslips files by right-clicking and select Close File
Thie following procedure will need to be done on all machines whose name appears in the open files on the server. - Open the Windows Services console
- From the Start menu, type services.msc
- Locate the service displayed as TimeslipsBackup
- Right click on the service and choose Properties
- Stop the service and set the Startup type to Disabled
