Cause | Issue with hardware or network environment. |
Resolution | [BCB:3:Network warning:ECB] [BCB:4:Operating system warning:ECB] [BCB:5:Third-party support:ECB] The combination of numerous "Error 86" entries in the Activity Log and dropped connections from the workstation has always indicates a hardware or network connectivity issue rather than a Sage 100 - even if other network applications seem function properly.
- Run network troubleshooting software to determine the cause of the issue.

Note: Per the ProvideX manual:
- Error #86 is a Transmission error to device. "A communications problem is reported between a host and a WindX client (usually when the client does not respond quickly)."
