Description
Cause

You have a corrupt user.config file.

Resolution

Sage support can't assist with third-party products, hardware, report customizations, or state and federal tax questions. Refer to our Scope of Support for more info. Contact your Sage business partner, network administrator, or accountant for assistance.

  1. Browse to the C:\Users\[user profile]\AppData\Local\Sage_Inc\Desktop.exe_StrongName_u3jvk0sgav0mxk5qzt023z3d2c5hglex\18.4.0.0\ folder. The folder version can vary. Select the one that matches your version of Sage.
  2. Rename the user.config to user.config old.
  3. Re-open the Sage Desktop to test.

If the error still occurs, troubleshoot other possible causes.
