Alternate messages

• A failure occurred when interfacing to the job cost accounting system
• Object reference not set to an instance of an object

1. Open the estimating you need to transfer to Job Cost.
2. Select the Home tab.
3. Select the icon for Info (estimate information).
4. Scroll down to Job Cost Information.
5. Change Sage 300 Construction or Sage 100 Contractor to Text or None.
6. Change it back to Sage 300 Construction or Sage 100 Contractor.
7. Complete Setup.
8. Browse to the correct Job number.
9. Click on OK.

If the issue continues, confirm the workstation and server have the same versions of Sage. Confirm that you have compatible versions of Sage 300 CRE and Sage Estimating.

Make sure the workstation and servers have the same versions and chcek to make sure Sage 300 CRE and Sage Estimating are compatible.
