Archived data in Sage 300 CRE refers to data that you moved to a separate folder from your live data. Locate archived files You can locate archive folders by searching for file types associated with Sage 300 CRE data. For example, you want to locate archived Payroll data. The Payroll master file uses an extension of prm, and the transaction files use prt. Use Windows Explorer on your Sage server to search for *.prt or *.prm. Access archived data If your archive data isn't accessible from your Open Company list, but you need to view it, add the folder to the list.
