How to install Actian Zen manually

NOTE:

We recommend installing Actian Zen using the Database Repair Utility. See Using the Sage 50 Database Repair Utility. If you’re unable to use the tool to install Actian, proceed to the steps below.

Besides the Database Repair Utility, there are two methods to reinstall Actian Zen: Running a software repair, or installing Actian Zen manually.

1. Run a software repair of Sage 50 to reinstall Actian Zen

2. Manually install Actian Zen

  1. Browse to the location of the Sage 50 installation files and double-click PervasiveMin,
  2. Double-click SetupWorkgroup32_x86.exe.
  3. Select Next.
  4. Accept the license agreement, and then select Next.
  5. Select Run as a Service, and then select Next.
  6. Select Complete, and then select Next.
  7. Select Install.
  8. Select Finish.
