Note: You will need a working knowledge of Crystal Reports to apply this criteria. If you do not have Crystal Reports or do not have a working knowledge of how to use it, contact your Sage 300 CRE Consultant or Sage Expert Services for assistance.

Criteria needed to be able to use a report design to print lien waiver forms within the Subcontract Compliance Management task window:

  • The report design must be a Crystal Reports design

    • Value Options:

      • Prompt with Description Only: False
      • Optional Prompt: False
      • Default Value:
      • Allow custom values: True
      • Allow multiple values: False
      • Allow discrete values: True
      • Allow range values: False
      • Min Value:
      • Max Value:
      • Show Value or Description: Show Value
  • The design must have these Formula Fields:
    • Name: SageCREReportVersion Syntax: 14.0100010001
    • Name: tsDataFolder Syntax: “c:\tsData”
    • Name: tsDesignMode Syntax: “SDesc”
  • Grouped by JCM_MASTER__LIEN_WAIVER.Lien_Waiver_ID
  • Have Select Expert, Record as: {JCM_MASTER__LIEN_WAIVER.Lien_Waiver_Id} = {?Lien Waiver ID}

TIPS:

  • In the name of your report design, include (T) (CR) to indicate that this is designed to be used as a "Task" report and is a "Crystal Report" design.
  • It may be easier to make a copy of one of the default designs then make changes to the design to fit your needs. The default designs are:
    • Compliance - Lien Waiver Conditional Final (T) (CR).rpt
    • Compliance - Lien Waiver Conditional Partial (T) (CR).rpt
    • Compliance - Lien Waiver Unconditional Final (T) (CR).rpt
    • Compliance - Lien Waiver Unconditional Partial (T) (CR).rpt
  • Each of the default designs has a condition (Select Expert, Record formula) for the specific lien waiver type: Conditional Final, Conditional Partial, Unconditional Final, Unconditional Partial. If you are copying a default design, be sure to select the one for the appropriate lien waiver type or change the formula to use the correct type(s).
