Option 1: In Crystal Reports designer, use Verify Database to remap the field Note: If you do not own the Crystal Reports application, contact your Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Consultant or Sage Expert Services to do this for you. - In Crystal Reports, open the report design.
- From the Database menu, select Verify Database.
- Click OK on the message "The database file "JCM_MASTER__JOB" has changed. Proceeding to fix up the report."
- In the Map Fields window, in the upper right quadrant, select the field name that replaced Project Manager.
Tip: This field should be after Misc_Phone and before Misc_Title_1 (If you changed the name of Misc_Title_1, the new name will be displayed). - Click the Map button in the upper right. In the lower left quadrant you will see Project_Manager was added and in the lower right quadrant the new field name was added.
- Click OK.
- Click OK on the message "The database is now up to date."
- Save the design.
Tip: Either save the report as a different name or make copy of the report. If you leave it as the original name, when you upgrade or reinstall, the original default report design will overwrite it and you will lose your changes. If you save the report as a different name, you will need to update the report menu item in AP Reports, Reports Manager to use the new report name. Option 2: Change the field name description back to Project Manager See How do I change the Type, Project Manager, and Misc. Title descriptions in Setup Jobs? The Project Manager field is below Misc Phone # and above Misc Title 1 (If you changed the name of Misc_Title_1, the new name will be displayed). |
