NOTE: If you have not already set up your 2-factor authentication, see Sage account - How to sign up to 2-factor authentication. - Open account.sso.sage.com.
- In the box titled Recovery method not set up, select Add a recovery method.

- Enter your 2-factor authentication (2FA) 6-digit code.
- Didn't receive a code? Select Resend code or get a call
To use a recovery phone number:
NOTE: When using SMS text as your primary method to receive your 2FA code, opt for a different phone number for your recovery method. If you don’t have another phone number, select to Add a recovery email address instead.
- Select Add a recovery phone number.
- Select the appropriate country prefix.
- Enter your phone number.
- Select the method to receive your code (text message or phone call).
- If you selected Text message, you'll receive a text (SMS) with a code
- If you selected Phone call, you'll receive an automated call with a code
- Enter the code.
- You’ll receive an email at your primary address confirming that you’ve added a recovery phone number.
To use a recovery email address: - Select Add a recovery email address.
- Enter an email address.
NOTE: You can't use the same email address that you use to log into your Sage account. - You'll receive an automated email with a 6-digit code.
- Didn't receive a code? Select Resend code or get a call
- Enter the code from the email.
- You’ll receive an email at your primary address confirming that you’ve added a recovery email.
