Right-click Windows Start button

Select 'Run' and type: RegEdit. Click 'OK'

Browse to the following Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Installer\

Verify the registry key 'aurora' exist.

If it doesn’t exist, follow the steps below to create (if it does, skip to Step 8):
a. Right-click 'Installer' registry key from Step 5
b. Select New Key
c. Change New Key name to 'aurora' -
Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Installer\aurora\ registry key

Verify 'Path' Registry key String Value exist. If it does not exist, follow the step below:
a. Right-click 'aurora'
b. Select New, String Value
c. Rename the New Value to 'Path'
d. Double-click the 'Path' String to open
e. Enter the following in the 'Value data' field: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\
f. Click 'OK' -
Repeat for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Installer\
- If application) Delete the following Registry Key as well: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP
BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Installer\ -
Save and Exit the Registry Editor

Try installing Crystal Reports again. This process will recreate the required folders including the renamed folder.
