Summary
Creating a Sales Tax in Sage 50 Accounting.
Resolution
- On the Customers & Sales navigation center, click Sales Taxes to start the Sales Taxes wizard.
- Select Set up a new sales tax, and then click Next.
- On the Set Up New Sales Tax window, enter the appropriate information and click Next.
- On the Add Sales Tax Agency window, select an existing tax agency or add a new tax agency:
- Existing tax agency: Select the drop-down arrow to the right of the Sales Tax Agency ID field, then click Next
- Add a new tax agency: Enter the appropriate information, then click Next
- If you need to associate another agency with the tax, repeat this step
- On the Sales Tax Entered window, complete the fields at the top of the window.
- Verify that the agency information is correct, and click Finish.
