Summary
Setting up Sales Tax.
Resolution
- On the Customers & Sales navigation center, click the Sales Taxes navigation aid. This will start the Sales Taxes wizard.
- Select Set up a new sales tax, and then click Next.
- On the Set Up New Sales Tax window, enter the appropriate information and click Next.
- On the Add Sales Tax Agency window, select an existing tax agency or add a new tax agency:
- Existing tax agency: Select the drop-down arrow to the right of the Sales Tax Agency ID field. Click Next
- Add a new tax agency: Enter the appropriate information. Click Next
- If you indicated in Step 3 that you need to associate additional tax agencies with this new sales tax, repeat step 4. Click Next after you enter each agency.
- On the Sales Tax Entered window, complete the fields at the top of the window and verify that the agency information is correct. Click Finish.
Sales tax no longer calculates on my sales invoices; how can I correct this?
