User-Maintained payroll is not calculating

• Not subscribed to Sage 50—U.S. Edition Payroll Tax service
• TAXTABLE.DAT damaged in your company data folder

Option I: Not subscribed to tax service

• Sage 50 will allow you to enter manual deductions in the payroll module.
• Beginning in Sage 50 release 2013:
  • You must have a valid payroll tax subscription in order to automatically calculate payroll deductions.
  • For information on how to subscribe to the Sage 50 Payroll Tax service see the Additional Information section.

Option II: TAXTABLE.DAT damaged

1. You need to restore a good TAXTABLE.DAT, refer to Article ID 16574 (Changes to Payroll Settings will not save) in the Related Resources section for assistance.
2. Verify User-Maintained payroll is calculating.
