How do I register my Sage 50 US Edition Retail product?

Summary

Registering your Sage 50 US product that you bought from a retail store or an online vendor other than Sage.

Description

 NOTE: If you have purchased Sage 50 before, i.e., this is not your first Sage 50 product, please call 1-877-481-0341 for assistance with your retail registration.

You must complete installation and activation to have access to all features.

  1. To install Sage 50, follow the installation and activation instructions found inside your retail box. If you purchased the Sage 50 "Download," your installation and activation instructions are in the "Supporting Documents" folder. For additional information, please refer to Installing your Sage 50 Accounting Software.
  2. After installation is complete, select Finish to launch Sage 50 Accounting.
  3. From within Sage 50 Accounting, go to Help, Sage 50 Activation, Licensing and Subscription Options.

  1. The Product Activation window will launch.

  1. Select Activate Online Now.  NOTE: If you are not connected to the internet, select Activate Manually on the Product Activation window to manually activate. Refer to article How do I manually activate program or manually register the payroll service?
  2. The Activation Form window will launch.

  1. Enter valid company information, then click OK.
  2. The Activation Complete window will launch.

  1. Verify successful registration by going back to Help, About Sage 50 Accounting.

  1. The presence of a Serial Number and Customer ID indicates that Sage 50 is now registered. Note:  The plan level will remain blank until you call 1-877-481-0341 to get your plan added with Sage.
