What file exclusions do I need to make in my firewall to ensure that Sage 50 Accounting will operate correctly?

Description

NOTE: Don’t enable GEO Blocking.

Configuring the Firewall or proxy server allows access to the following URLs:

elspv.pervasive.com
bkpelspv.pervasive.com
Sage Activation URL: https://licensing.services.sage.com/lic/services/LicenseService/
aatrix.com

NOTE: If using a 32-bit operating system, open Program Files instead of Program Files (x86).

Allow the following files through your firewall and add to your antivirus exceptions list:

Ports 443, 1583, 3351
Located in the Program Path (by default it’s located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Peachtree\). See How to find data path and program path

To enter exceptions for blocked Sage URLs that are preventing the software from downloading: Add an exception for *.sage.com
Under Program Files(x86) or Program Files, if a 32-bit OS, search for the file peachw.exe.config. Enter an exception for every URL found in that file
