Resolution

To view transactions from a closed but unpurged year

  1. Click Lists, then select the area in which you want to view transactions. For example, click Customers and Sales, Sales Invoices to view customer invoices.
  2. In the upper-left, click the Date Range arrow next to and select All Transactions.
  3. Double-click the item you want to review. You’ll be able to view but not edit or print.
  4. Set the Date Range selection back to its previous setting and close the list window.

View Reports such as the Customer Ledger

  1. Click Reports & Forms, Accounts Receivable.
  2. Right-click the Customer Ledger and select Modify, and then select Options.
  3. Click the Date arrow and select Range.
  4. Enter a date in the From box that is before the records you want to review. Click OK.
  5. To view the details on any of the transactions, double-click the item. It will then open in its original window.

NOTE: If you’re using Sage 50 Premium or higher and you’ve used the archive company feature, you can view this information in your archived company. For more information on the archive company feature, consult your documentation.
