Summary

After purchasing an E-File Subscription for Sage 50, you must enroll your EIN with Aatrix for the button to become available. This solution walks you through how to verify the EIN is enrolled and matches the EIN inside your company’s information.

Resolution

The E-file service in Sage 50—U.S. Edition is an add-on service. If you have not purchased the E-file add-on service, call Sage 50 US Sales at 877-495-9904.

Section 1: Verifying Aatrix Enrollment & EIN

Option 1: I have not enrolled with Aatrix

  1. Visit https://efile.aatrix.com and select Enroll at the top right.
  2. Fill out all the information on the form and select Save Changes.
  3. Continue to Section 2: Update Subscriptions.

Option 2: I have already enrolled with Aatrix

  1. Sign Into the Aatrix website - https://efile.aatrix.com.
  2. Click Login at the top right and login with your username/password.
  3. On the right-hand side, click View My Sage eFiling Status.
  4. The popup will say eFiling X out of X and will list all the EINs.
  5. Check the list for your EIN. If your EIN is missing, please contact sales at 1-877-495-9904.
  6. Open Sage 50 and browse to Maintain, Company Information.
  7. Verify the EIN matches your Aatrix registration.
  8. Correct the EIN if incorrect and continue to Section 2.

Section 2: Update Subscriptions

  1. From the main dashboard of Sage 50 select Help, Sage 50 Subscription Updates.
  2. Choose Online(recommended).
  3. Select OK and then OK again at the confirmation window.
  4. Start a New Form after updating the subscription. Do not use Work-In Progress.
  5. Verify E-Filing is available. If E-Filing is still not available, try to force the program to Activate again.
