• Yes, the conversion utility will convert list information from DacEasy accounting, payroll, and job costing along with opening balances but no transactions are converted.
• Sage DacEasy 2014, 2015, 2015.1 use Pervasive 10.0 and Sage 50 uses Actian Zen (Pervasive 13.0), if you are going to use daceasy data going forward while transitioning to Sage 50 US 2015 its imperative to keep the daceasy data or a copy of it on a separate workstation by itself with only sage daceasy installed there. Otherwise using Sage DacEasy data with Actian Zen (Pervasive 13.0) will corrupt the data.
• The conversion utility is available only in Sage 50 Premium Accounting and higher.
• You must be on Sage DacEasy 2015.1 or higher in order to convert to Sage 50 US 2019.
• For those on Sage 50 US 2020, one must backup and send in Data to Sage Expert Services (SES), there is a charge per conversion, must check with SES for the price
• A conversion guide can be printed from Sage 50 from Help, User Manuals, DacEasy Conversion. This outlines the process and precisely what gets converted.

• Company information
• Accounts (balances, no general ledger transactions)
• Customer information (balances, no receivable transactions, no ship-to contacts)
• Vendor information (balances, no payable transactions)
• Product information
  • On hand purchase units
  • On hand sales units and last purchase price (LPP)
  • No transaction information, standard or average cost
• Tax codes
• Salesperson codes

Items converted from DacEasy payroll:

• Employee information
• Accounts (no balances, transactions, nor history, no user-defined codes)

Items converted from DacEasy job costing:

• Job information (balances, no transactions)
• Phase and sub phase information
