Generally this error indicates that Timeslips cannot access and lock the LCNSREGS.DAT file on the server. This error can occur when generating bills, or when attempting to open the program.
The error may indicate the file name LOGIN.DB after the address.
If using Sage Timeslips Premium, 2017, 2018, or 2019:
- Locate and delete the LOGIN.DB and LOCKS.DB in the DBFiles folder located within the Timeslips installation folder.
If using Sage Timeslips 2015 or 2016:
- Locate and delete the LCNSREGS.DAT file in the Timeslips Installation folder.
- Note: This file is hidden and always resides in the same folder where the TIMESLIP.CFG file resides. In Windows, make sure to view hidden files
- Locate and delete the LOGIN.DB and LOCKS.DB files in the current database folder.
