 NOTE: Departmental accounting is available only in Sage 50 Premium Accounting and higher. For Pro or Complete Accounting, see How to create departmental financial statements in version Pro or Complete. 

1. Defining account segments and changing account IDs

2. Running departmental financials

  1. Select Reports & Forms, then Financial Statements.
  2. Open a financial statement.
  3. To run the statement for a specific department, select the appropriate ID from the appropriate Account Segments drop-down list.
  4. For advanced department financial statement options, see How to set up a mask for a Financial Statement.
  5. Select OK.
  6. You can save the statement as a custom financial statement by selecting Save.
