How to install, uninstall, or reinstall the Sage 100 PDF converter.
Description
- The Sage 100 PDF Converter enables PDF creation for Paperless Office.
- In Citrix environments, install the converter on the Citrix server, not the local workstation.
- If normal installation fails, use manual installation methods.
Resolution
Before you begin
- Make sure you’ve defined a Windows default printer and all printers are in Ready status.
- Confirm you have the rights to add/remove printers.
- Consult your network administrator before making changes.
Sage 100 2018 or higher
- Log into Sage 100.
- Select File, Run from the toolbar.
- In the Program field, type PL_AdvancedOptions_Ui.
- Click OK to open the Paperless Office Advanced Options window.
- Click one of the following:
- Test Converter
- Install Converter
- Uninstall Converter
- View Installation Log
Retired Versions
Sage MAS 90 and 200 4.30 – 2017
- On the File menu, click Run.
- Type PL_AdvancedOptions_Ui in the Program field.
- Click OK to open the Paperless Office Advanced Options window.
- Click the desired button.
Sage MAS 90 and 200 4.10 and 4.20
- Expand Modules, Library Master, Main, Company Maintenance.
- Click the E-Mail tab.
- Click Test E-mail.
- Click Advanced to open the Paperless Office Advanced Options window.
- Click the desired button.
Sage MAS 90 and 200 3.71 through 4.05
- Expand Modules, Library Master, Utilities, Extended Solutions Control Panel.
- Click Setup PDF Converter.
- Click Install, Uninstall, or Test.
Manual Installation

Sage MAS 90 and 200 4.30:
- Run PDFInstall.exe at the server.
- Go to ..\Mas90\Home in Windows Explorer.
- Double-click PDFInstall.exe.

Sage MAS 90 and 200 4.20 and earlier:
- Run Es_Pdf_Sp.bat or Ext_Pdf.bat at the server.
- For 4.10 or 4.20, go to ..\Mas90\Home.
- For 4.05 and earlier, go to ..\Mas90\Soa.
- Double-click the batch file.
- A log file will confirm success or failure. If the first attempt fails, try again.
