Files to back up for year end in Payroll

Which Payroll files do I need to back up for Sage 300 CRE year end?

Payroll files are stored in different locations. You need to make a backup for each of the following groups of files. See steps to make a backup.

Files from your current data folder

• Current.prt
• History.prt
  If you have never moved checks to history, then the History.prt file won't exist
• Master.prm
• System.prs
• Tax.prx
  You can store this file in a custom location. See steps to verify the Tax.prx location

Files from your Formula folder

• Pr.frm
• User.frm
