How to find the serial number

If your serial number doesn't prefill when installing Sage 50 Accounting, do the following:

Check your email: An email containing your Serial Number and Account ID information was sent to the primary contact on your account. The title is "Sage 50 2026.0 is now available". It's possible that the email went into the Spam or Junk folder, so be sure to check there as well.

If you didn't receive the email: Follow the instructions below to locate your version 2026 serial number on your account.

Purchased directly from Sage

1. Log in to the Customer Portal. If you're new to Sage, sign up for Customer Portal.
2. Select Product information, then My active Services and Plans.
3. Select your Product.
4. Under Activation Codes, select Active. Here you can locate your 2026 serial number.

If you're a Sage Business Partner, you can get your activation code at the Partner Portal.

Purchased from a retail location (for example, Amazon, Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot)

If you purchased a digital download from a retailer, the retailer will provide you with the serial number via email or a digital locker.

If you purchased a box product from a retailer, you’ll find the serial number in the case under the disc.
