1099 Instructions*: The instructions are printed on plain paper and distributed with the recipient copies.
Record Copy**: This form may be printed to blank paper for your records.
Plain Paper***: Effective reporting year 2023, the Red Pre-printed Form for 1099/1096 Federal copies is no longer required. Aatrix received approval from the IRS to print to plain paper. Aatrix's IRS approval code prints in the lower left corner of the form. This lets the IRS know that it was created from an approved software.

Note: Beginning with reporting year 2020, there were changes to the 1099-MISC form as well as the addition of the new form 1099-NEC. Refer to Will the new 1099-NEC (Nonemployee compensation) for 2020 be available in Accounts Payable?

Plain Paper*: The Federal W-2 and W-3 may be submitted to the IRS on plain paper with black ink. See The W-2 or W-3 for the Social Security Administration is not red article linked below for more information.
Record Copy**: This form may be printed to blank paper for your records.
W-2 Instructions***: We recommend ordering blank 4 part perforated forms with instructions on the back. You may also print the instructions separately using blank non-perforated paper. Then photocopy the printed instructions to include with all the Employee W-2s you are mailing.

1098 Mortgage Interest Forms

For the 1098 forms generated in Property Management, use the pre-printed 2-up forms for 1098s. The red form for Federal (copy A). The black form for Payer/Borrower (copy B) and Recipient/Lender (copy C). These can also be ordered from the Sage CRE Forms web site at http://www.sagecreforms.biz.
