Confirm the latest tax updates installed

1. Launch the Sage Desktop.
2. Go to Help and Product Documents.
3. Select Payroll Taxes and Year End.
4. Select Payroll Taxes.
5. Click Payroll Tax Release Notes and your country (United States, Canada or Australia).
6. Check the document to see all applicable tax changes.
7. Identify a tax listed that had an update.
8. Go to Payroll, Setup, Taxes, Tax Rates.
9. Confirm that the tax ID has the same Effective Date listed in the document.
10. If it doesn't match, download and update the Payroll taxes.
