The Income Statement list revenues and expense for the period, with the resulting balance indicating a net profit (revenues exceeded expenses) or net loss (expense exceeded revenues. You can select to print the Income Statement by Standard, Date Range, Comparative, or Budgeted
Resolution
The 'Profit and Loss' statement is referred to as an Income Statement in Sage BusinessWorks.
- Select GL, Reports, Income Statements
- This report can be generated as standard, date range, comparative and budgeted.
- The report field displays the report that will be run. Click the 'lookup' to list the report options. The report can be generated as MTD Income Statement, QTD Income Statement and YTD Income Statement
- Select the time period from the list of available periods. You will be able to run the report for the current month, previous month, closed month and as long as you are keeping history.
NOTE:
- The comparative income statement can only use the listed periods and cannot use specific date range
- Only two year side by side comparison report can be generated. If more than two columns are needed, consider running the reports for selected months and export to Excel and combine the totals.
