How to install the optional 64-bit ODBC driver for use with older Sage 100 32-bit versions (2013 – 2024)

About 64-bit installations and ODBC changes

  • Sage 100 versions 2021 - 2024 include both 32-bit and 64-bit install options.
  • Sage 100 version 2026 moves to a 64-bit–only product.
  • Sage 100 version 2025 installs both 32-bit and 64-bit ODBC connections automatically, SOTAMAS90 32/64-bit.
Note: Sage 100 2025 removes the optional 64-bit ODBC driver installation.

When to use the 64-bit ODBC driver

  • Use Sage 100 2013–2024 32-bit install with 64-bit Microsoft Office.
  • Import or export data with 64-bit applications.
  • Install only on a computer running a 64-bit operating system.
  • You don't have to run Crystal Reports from within Sage 100.

Install the 64-bit ODBC driver

  1. Download the Sage 100 installation software from the Sage Portal website, or access your saved installer folder. Sage 100: Download Portal
  2. Locate and open Autorun.exe in the installation folder
  3. Select your installed Sage 100 version, Standard, Advanced, or Premium
  4. Select Productivity Applications
  5. Select Install 64-bit ODBC Driver
  6. Complete the Sage ODBC 64-bit installation steps
  7. Select Finish after the installation completes
