  1. Verify that the Timberline Data Source has already been created and setup to the correct data folder. If the data source needs to be created, please seeDocLink: How do I set up an ODBC User DSN for Accounting and Management data?.
  2. In Excel, click on the Data tab.
  3. Click on From other Sources and choose From Data Connection Wizard.
  4. Select ODBC DSN and click Next.
  5. Select the Timberline Data Source or the DSN you created and click Next.
  6. Enter in your Sage 300 CRE Username and Password.
  7. Select the table you want to export from the list and click Next.
  8. Click Finish on the Save Data Connection File and Finish window.
  9. Click OK on the Import Data window if the settings are fine.
  10. Enter in your Sage 300 CRE Username and Password.
