The "On Bk Ord" quantity is a total of all sales orders with an order type of "Back Order" and the quantitiy in the Back Ordered column on the sales order.
Once a sales order is invoiced with backordered lines, it will change to a backordered sales order and the quantities will appear in Item Maintenance in the On Bk Ord column.
