  • The default location for the backup is: C:\Sage100Con\Backup
  • Instead of changing the default location, you can add a secondary backup location where the nightly backup is copied to a secondary file. See Related Resources down below for the steps on how to set up a secondary backup location.

To change where the backups are stored (change default backup location):

  1. Open up Database Admin
  2. Advanced Settings
  3. Advanced Backup Settings
  4. Browse out to your desired backup folder location

***Make sure to have this folder included in your nightly backups

Note: The nightly backups cannot be designated to go to a OneDrive for the nightly schedule. It can have it as the Copy To location after it first completes in the nightly folder, but keep in mind it will have no retention plan so will fill up your OneDrive space quickly. The Copy To location can be set in Database Administration--Advanced Settings--Advanced Backup Settings.
