CAUTION: Use caution when working with the below product functionality. Always create a backup of your data before proceeding with advanced solutions. If necessary, seek the assistance of a qualified Sage business partner, network administrator, or Sage customer support analyst.

If the issue occurs on all workstations

  1. Go to the new installation folder: ..\MAS90\MAS_System\
  2. Rename SY_SagePEP.M4T and SY_SagePEPTask.M4T
  3. Go to the old installation folder: ..\MAS90\MAS_System\
  4. Press Ctrl, select both files, right-click, and choose Copy
  5. Return to the new installation folder
  6. Right-click in an open area and select Paste

If the issue occurs on one workstation

  1. Confirm access to ..\Documents\Sage 100\ or ..\My Documents\Sage 100\
  2. Rename the Sage 100 folder under Documents
  3. Uninstall and install Workstation client

If the issue affects one Sage 100 user or one Windows user

  • Create a new login or replace the corrupted one
  • Disable Autologoff if the screen partially loads and locks up

If upgrading from the pre-2020 version

  • Switch from Classic to Standard desktop before installing the new version
  • Check bootstrap.JSON for "Selection": "1" value

NOTE: Renaming the Sage 100 folder can delete stored Favorites. Review the Favorites.JSON file before renaming.
