CAUTION: Use caution when working with the below product functionality. Always create a backup of your data before proceeding with advanced solutions. If necessary, seek the assistance of a qualified Sage business partner, network administrator, or Sage customer support analyst. If the issue occurs on all workstations
- Go to the new installation folder: ..\MAS90\MAS_System\
- Rename SY_SagePEP.M4T and SY_SagePEPTask.M4T
- Go to the old installation folder: ..\MAS90\MAS_System\
- Press Ctrl, select both files, right-click, and choose Copy
- Return to the new installation folder
- Right-click in an open area and select Paste
If the issue occurs on one workstation
- Confirm access to ..\Documents\Sage 100\ or ..\My Documents\Sage 100\
- Rename the Sage 100 folder under Documents
- Uninstall and install Workstation client
If the issue affects one Sage 100 user or one Windows user
- Create a new login or replace the corrupted one
- Disable Autologoff if the screen partially loads and locks up
If upgrading from the pre-2020 version
- Switch from Classic to Standard desktop before installing the new version
- Check bootstrap.JSON for "Selection": "1" value
NOTE: Renaming the Sage 100 folder can delete stored Favorites. Review the Favorites.JSON file before renaming.
