Description
Cause
Installation and data copy problems
- Copying only MAS_XXX (company data) into the MAS90 folder breaks encryption compatibility in Sage 100 2018 (or later).
- Conflict caused by installing Sage 100 2018 over an existing MAS90 directory (and not removing the MAS90 folder before the installation).
General Ledger (GL) not configured in any company
- Error accessing tasks if the General Ledger module isn’t set up in any company.
Version-specific defects
- Defect #110946 affects Sage 100 2018.7. Resolved in 2018.8 (6.00.8.0).
- Installing Sage 100 and not converting data before printing a Library Master Report.
- Defect #110950 affects Sage 100 2019.1. Resolved in 2019.2 (6.10.2.0).
- Occurs in a clean installation:
- After converting ABC data.
- Copying ABC company to a new company.
- With a Role/User set up, logging in via Administrator login (not another user login).

Correct installation issues
- Uninstall the new Sage 100 2018 or later version.
- Remove the MAS90 folder and all contents.
- Reinstall Sage 100 in a clean directory.
Fix data copy issues
- Don't copy only MAS_XXX company folders directly into a Sage 100 2018 (or later) MAS90 directory.
- Remove incorrectly copied MAS_XXX folders.
Set up General Ledger
If the error appears in Visual Integrator or when installing the Sage 100 PDF Converter due to General Ledger not set up in any company:
- Go to General Ledger, Setup, General Ledger Options in at least one company.
- Complete the setup for at least one company.
