How to do a standalone installation of Sage 50—U.S. Edition

 NOTE: If you haven’t already done so, refer to Getting prepared to install Sage 50—U.S. Edition for installation preparation tips.

1. Download the program

See Sage 50—U.S. Edition—How to Download.

2. Installing on a single/standalone computer

 NOTE: We recommend installing the program path at C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Peachtree. 

1. Run the downloaded installation file.
2. Select to install the requirements needed for Sage 50 Accounting if you receive the prompt.
3. Turn off the antivirus, and then click Next.
4. Agree to the license agreement, and then click Next.
5. Select Auto configure the Windows Firewall to allow install and run Sage 50 (Recommended). Then click Next.
   • If you disabled Windows Firewall, then the box becomes grayed out.
6. Verify or enter your Serial number, and then click Next.
7. At the prompt, "Will this be the only computer running Sage 50?", select Yes, and then click Next.
8. On the Install Options, select location of program files and company data files, and then click Install.
