Section 1: Program platform paths
Below are the Sage 50—U.S. products available:
- Sage 50 Pro Accounting
- Sage 50 Premium Accounting
- Sage 50 Quantum Accounting
- Sage 50 Quantum Accountant Edition
The upgrade path begins with Sage 50 Pro Accounting. You cannot downgrade a Sage 50—U.S. product. For example, if you own Sage 50 Premium you cannot go backwards to Sage 50 Pro. Your only choice would be to upgrade to Sage 50 Quantum.
Important Note: Sage 50 Complete was phased out after version 23 (2015)
Section 2: Version upgrades
- Starting with the 2020.0 version, Sage 50 will only convert data from the previous 6 years. So 2020.0 will on convert 2014 version and higher. Version 2019 and prior can will convert from 2010 and higher.
