Family Leave Insurance appears to calculate over the wage limit in Sage 50 Accounting.
The Paid Family Leave formulas are based on adjusted gross. This means that any pre-tax deductions affecting the St_FLI_EE or St_FLI_ER field subtract from Gross before the Paid Family Leave formula calculates. Verify that the Adjusted Gross for the Paid Family Leave formula includes no pre-tax deductions.
Employee contributions:
- Select Maintain, Default Information, then Employees.
- Select the Employee Fields tab.
- Select the Adjust button for the St_FLI_EE row.
- Verify that the adjustments are correct. If not, make the necessary changes.
Employer contributions:
- Select the Employer Fields tab.
- Select the Adjust button for the St_FLI_ER row.
- Verify that the adjustments are correct. If not, make the necessary changes.
