Error: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Summary

I receive an error when posting projects / prime contracts from Sage Construction Management to Sage 100 Contractor or Sage 300 CRE.

Cause

Permissions restrictions prevent transactions from exporting to HH2.

Resolution

  1. Log on to the server for the HH2 Synchronization service as an administrator.
  2. Elevate the permissions for the Local System account or change the Logon credentials to Administrator. 
    Note: When HH2 updates, it resets the logon credentials to Local System.
