Resolution

To setup the Job Cost interface for an estimate, please refer to the steps below:

  1. Launch Estimating.
  2. Open the Estimate
  3. Select Info tab
  4. Scroll down on the right column to the Job Cost Info section.
  5. Select Sage 300 Construction (or Sage 100 Contactor or Text depending on how you want to export the estimate information). (This option will be greyed out or not there at all, if the Sage 300 CRE program is not installed. Use a computer that currently has Sage 300 CRE installed with Sage Estimating to update the database.)
  6. Select Setup
  7. Select Company, by clicking on the "Select" button.
  8. Select the Categories
  9. Click Save
  10. Close the Estimate and re-open it
