How do I setup a Sage Estimating standard database to interface with Job Cost? (SQL) (Supplemental Video)

Resolution

To setup the Job Cost interface for a database, please refer to the steps below:

  1. Launch Estimating Management Console.
  2. Click on the Standard DB icon.
  3. Expand the instance that contains the database.
  4. Select the database.
  5. Select Edit
  6. Scroll down on the right column to the Job Cost Info section.
  7. Select Sage 300 Construction. (This option will be greyed out or not there at all, if the Sage 300 CRE program is not installed. Use a computer that currently has Sage 300 CRE installed with Sage Estimating to update the database.)
  8. Select Setup
  9. Select Company, by clicking on the "Select" button.
  10. Select the Categories
  11. Click Save
