1. Locate your company's data path. See How to find the data path and program path.
2. Open Windows Explorer and browse to the location where your company's data folder resides.
3. Right-click the folder that contains your company data and then select Copy.
4. Browse to the location where you wish to place your data.
    TIP: To be sure that you are in the correct data location, look for a file named Verinfo and open it. Read the Ver= line and make sure it agrees with your latest version (33 for 2026, 31 for 2024, 30 for 2023, etc.). 
5. Right-click a blank area of this screen, and then select Paste (or click File and then select Paste).
6. The company folder is now copied to the new location.
   • If you get warnings about files being in use or locked, try rebooting the computer that you’re copying from. Then repeat the steps above.
