Error: "Unable to continue, no active licenses available"

Cause
Resolution
  1. Log all users out of Sage 100 Contractor.
  2. Stop the Hosting Framework Service.
  3. Go to the following folder locations and rename the Licensing folder to Licensing_OLD or Licensing_OLD2.
    • For the current version of Sage 100 Contractor: C:\ProgramData\Sage\CRE\HostingFramework\Sage.100.Contractor.HostingFramework.Service.4.6\Licensing
    • For versions 20 through 21.1.8:  C:\ProgramData\Sage\CRE\HostingFramework\Sage.100.Contractor.HostingFramework.Service.1.2\Licensing
    • For versions 19 or earlier:  C:\ProgramData\Sage\CRE\HostingFramework\Sage.SMB.HostingFramework.Service.1.2\Licensing
  4. Restart the service from Step 2.
  5. Connect to License Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
  6. If the Registration information section is blank, click Edit registration information. Enter your Sage client ID and Registration name.
  7. Click OK and then Update license information.
