Adding a numeric question to a model (Model SQL)

Cause
Resolution
To add a numeric question to a model:

  1. Select a blank line in your model where you want to insert the question.
  2. Click to enter a blank numeric question in the model.
  3. Place your cursor in the text area of the line, type the actual question and press [Enter].
  4. (optional) Enter the default value to prefill for the question during takeoff.

To enter a default answer for the question, you can: (Model SQL)

  1. (optional) Click to open the Properties window where you can do any of the following:
  2. Name the question.
  3. Enter the minimum and maximum values allowed for the response.
  4. Enter the number of decimals allowed for the response.
  5. Enter a helpful note about the question that appears during takeoff.
  6. Set up additional numeric questions in the same manner. When you finish, click [OK].
