How do I compact my data files?

Have all users exit Sage 300 CRE.
Back up your data files. See How to Back up Company data with System Administrator including SQL Replicator.
From the server, launch Sage Desktop.
Go to Applications, Common Tasks, Tools, File Doctor.
Answer Yes or No to the backup question. (If the answer is No, File Doctor will not start. You must have a backup before proceeding).
In Tasks, select the Compact good files and Fix and compact bad files check boxes.
In the Files list, select the files to compact.
Click Start to print the report.
