| How to request Administrator user password reset assistance for Sage 100 |
Cause | Request assistance if your company has forgotten or misplaced the password to the Administrator login for Sage 100 |
Resolution | The Sage 100 Administrator password is initially set during the installation of Sage 100. The Administrator logon is the only account in Sage 100 that may access the Administrative Tools window, which allows change of the Administrator password, setup up of Roles, and maintenance of other Users (this includes adding, deleting, or editing Sage 100 User Logons and changing passwords). Instructions: - Support Plan and Contact: Must have a valid support agreement or be working in conjunction with a Sage Business Partner; and you must be a valid contact listed on your Customer Account. If you are not on the Authorized Contact list, please refer to How to add, edit, or remove an authorized contact for support.
- Create a Support Ticket:
- On-line Support Ticket: Create a support ticket by going to https://customers.sagenorthamerica.com/, sign in, select Manage Cases > Submit a New Case > Sage 100 > Question Category > Subcategory > Subject > Detailed description. - Phone Support Ticket: Call in to create a support ticket at (800) 854-3415 (M - F, 6 AM to 5 PM PT, select Customer Support, and enter your Account Number when prompted). - Fill out the Employee Declaration form: Complete the attached Employee Declaration form - including the Support Ticket Number - and e-mail the document to Sage.
NOTE: A form with missing information, including the Support Ticket Number, may not get processed. - Send Sage the form:
- E-mail: The form can be scanned and e-mailed to [email protected]. Please include your Account Number and Support Ticket Number in the email Subject line
- Call in: The process to reset the Administrator password is interactive. Call Customer Support at (800) 854-3415 after emailing the Employee Declaration form. Please call Monday thru Friday 6 AM to 5 PM PT, select Customer Support, and enter the Ticket Number when prompted. If the ticket was created solely for resetting the Administrator password, it should be set to "Free of Charge".
